Mike - NZ
Experienced raft, river surfing & canyon guide. Mike started commercially running Canyoning trips in Queenstown in 1998. During his spare time Mike enjoys golfing, drinking bourbon & spending time with his adorable daughter.

Andrew - USA
Andrew left small town Oklahoma to follow the sun around the world, it's not a bad life! Andrews's passion for canyoning began in New Zealand and he has a number of first descents under his belt. Andrew loves the outdoors; he has worked as a backpacking, canoeing, kayaking, rafting and canyoning guide in Switzerland and the USA.

Lefty - USA
Lefty graduated university and moved to the USVIs with a few dollars in his pocket where he worked on a chartered sail boat. After a year in the Caribbean he purchased a one way ticket to Queenstown where he's been ever since. Lefty spends most of his time in the canyons, when he's not working you'll find him at the gym practising Capoeira.

Mario - Suisse
Mario joined us on a canyoning trip in 2009 and loved it! So much so that when he flew home to Switzerland, Mario qualified as a Canyoning Guide and spent the summer working in Ticino. Mario speaks English, German and Suisse German.

Stu - Irish
Stu is our youngest guide, full of energy and always on missions. He spends most of his free time climbing. Stu's Irish and seems to be allergic to everything, oh and his favourite colour is orange!

Shane - Australian
Shane was a cop in Western Australia, before mixing it up and taking up guiding. Since then he has travelled to all the places you wouldn't expect. Full of interesting facts, Shane will entertain you all the way to the Routeburn Valley and back.

Aaron - NZ
This is Aaron's second season with Canyoning.co.nz, he first worked for us when our company had just started up. Aaron is a Kiwi, he spent the last few years crewing on mega yachts and now he is back in Queenstown enjoying life in the canyons.

Lydia - Malaysian
Lydia is currently studying a Diploma in Adventure Tourism Management at Queenstown Resort College. Originally from Malaysia where she was a high ropes, caving and raft guide. Lydia can speak English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay!

Anna - NZ
This chick's got everything… blond hair, blue eyes and keeps up with the guys whatever the challenge. Over the years, Anna's progressed from Photo Guide to Guide. Always keen to perfect her skills, Anna's definately not just a pretty face!

Fay - UK
Our up for anything 'wish you had her life' guide. Ski instructor by Winter and Canyon Guide by Summer! Super nice, if you can't get on with Fay you need to re-evaluate your life!

Michi - Austria
Michi is our most experienced guide having worked in canyons all over the world. We hope sarcasm isn't wasted on you as she loves a laugh. Postponing canyoning for a short time to pursue her "real job" as a school teacher. Hopefully she will be back soon!

Nando - Brazil
Nando's passion for photography started back home in Brazil, he now runs Nando Azevedo Photography and the team of the photographers who have taken the footage in the canyons to a whole new level. Nando saw an opportunity and snapped it up!

Pieter - South Africa
Pieter's photography skills guarantee some awesome shots in the canyon. His interest in photography started back home in South Africa, he specializes in videography and can put together some amazing footage! Check out the awesome Canyoning.co.nz video in the shop.

Honza - Czech Republic
Honza likes to kick starts his day with a coffee. Honza is from the Czech Republic, he's one of the lucky few that get to combine their hobby & work. His footage in the canyons continues to amaze us!

Frontline staff
