SPRING INTO CANYONING QUEENSTOWN

WELCOME BACK!!!

Its been a beautiful start to the summer season so far with trips taking place from the 1st October.

There’s been a fair bit of rainfall (and snowfall) for us to play with, and this has enabled us to do some awesome elements within our Canyons such as our slide into the Green Room.

While temperatures are still a bit chilly and the spring showers have arrived, this is a great time to go Canyoning as we provide 10mm of wetsuit, socks, boots and buoyancy aids PLUS our trips can still run in the rain (you are already getting wet so whats a bit of extra rain water to freshen you up).

Our main trips of the day are our 8.30am & 1.00pm Queenstown Adventurer (half-day) and our 9.00am Routeburn Explorer (full-day). The times for our half day trip allow you to get as much done in your day as possible as you can link up with other great activities in and around Queenstown.

With the arrival of Spring our Canyons begin to become alive with colourful flora and fauna. A great example of this is our Kowhai trees which can be found in abundance at our Queenstown Canyon. The Kowhai tree has a vibrant yellow flower which attracts tonnes of Tui birds which can often be heard joyfully tweeting.

Why not check out our new and updated summer crew profiles on our website www.canyoning.co.nz  to get an idea of the characters we have working with us this year.

You can also follow us on Facebook (Canyoning Queenstown) and Instagram (#canyoningqueenstown)  to keep up to date and on our general shenanigans.
